"The Insider by DFIN" is a series of video interviews featuring latest topics and key perspectives on the global capital markets.
I had the pleasure recently of talking cyber security on The Insider, DFIN's webinar series hosted by DFIN President of Global Capital Markets, Craig Clay. Security is a subject that is top of mind for our clients. And protecting our clients, partners and our own business is central to our purpose as a company.
In a wide-ranging discussion, we examine the measures and processes DFIN has established to protect our clients' critical information. That includes a variety of best practices and tools, as well as our Global Enterprise Security team, which supports all Security Incident and Response, Application Security, Network Security and Security Governance, and Risk and Compliance. Our elite team is on-call to provide support, leverage threat intelligence and monitor activity. They also provide cyber security training for all DFIN employees.
And DFIN does not stop there. From monitoring the Dark Web to identify new attack techniques and threat actors, to conducting routine attack simulations and tabletop incident response exercises, DFIN is relentless in working to stay one step ahead of the cybercriminals.
And no discussion of DFIN security would be complete without touching on ActiveDisclosure, which has a comprehensive "Zero Trust Architecture" with detective and preventative security controls in place that leverage next-generation security technology.
Of course, none of this is happening in a vacuum. Government regulations are evolving, too. So, Craig and I spend some time addressing the latest data privacy rules and regulations, such as The Colorado Privacy Act (CPA), Virginia's Consumer Data Protection Act (CDPA), and California's CPRA.
I think you will find our talk informative. You can watch it here.
